Today the house is really sold. In the morning we drive from Dordrecht to Tilburg, first to the notary in Rijen to sign a power of attorney. Because of corona we are not allowed to be present at the signing this afternoon. Hence the power of attorney for the notary himself. Then we drive to the house and make a last tour through the house and garden. Everything is empty and tidy and it doesn't really feel like our house anymore. We walk along both neighbours to say goodbye. Without the corona we would have probably given a farewell party.

At half past one we meet the buyers with the real estate agent for an inspection tour of the house and garden and finally the handing over of the key. It's nice to see that the new owners are very eager to get started. I'm sure we'll come back to take a look at the result in a while. The estate agent removes the sign from the garden and we close the door behind us for the last time. At 2pm the buyers sign the contract at the notary's office, which we are not allowed to attend due to corona.

It's really sold now. We are happy with it 😃😃. A closed chapter. That feels good 😊😊.
