The first appointment with the real estate agent teaches us that we still have something to do before we can put the house up for sale. Because we have quite a bit of space, over the years a lot of junk has been collected in rooms we don't use. In the attic and the storage room upstairs are also a lot of stuff left over from previous renovations.
We walk through the house with the real estate agent and for each room we make a list of things we need to deal with. The real estate agent's philosophy is that it should be possible to use every room in the house. So no 'storage' in rooms that can be used (like the room behind the TV, as we call it). Nowhere plastic and also no slats but curtains. We understand this and know exactly how long our work list is 😉. In 5 weeks there will be a new appointment ... let's see how far we can get.
