Hello, everybody.
We went into someone else's house for a week. That was a lot of fun. They gave a lot. Like Harry Potter lego. They gave the office of Dumbledore lego. And we also watched the kids' game called lacross. It's kind of hockey and tennis at the same time. They play it with a stick with a net at the end that they catch some kind of hockey ball and they have to throw it in the goal. But that is difficult because there is a goalkeeper who blocks almost the whole goal. And we also went with a boat with 445 hp. And Eline and me and another girl named Caroline were lying on some kind of tire that was pulled by that boat. It went really fast and it was really cool. We went for two hours in a row, that's how much fun it was. Of course daddy mummy went with aunt Helen and grandma. We all tried to stand but it didn't always go well. But we didn't fall off, well... at least not by standing. Eline fell off twice because she tried a lot of tricks. And Caroline also twice, but me only once.

Hi Marinthe, today we had to go back to school but we didn't get any new places. I'm very sorry about that.
We had 2 weeks vacation and participated in the school soccer tournament. We had won the fair play cup and were then allowed to do a soccer clinic. That was a lot of fun. I also had tournaments with my own team from 't Zand. That was also very nice. You see very nice things. We always look at the reports and the photo 's. Mommy looks almost every day on your site. You are also all browned. I hope you see a lot of beautiful things in America.
greetings from Gus
Dear Marinthe,
Thank you for your email. I'd love to hear how you're doing. I miss you too heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee very much. I stayed at my grandmother's during the holidays. Then we went to the open air museum, they were setting up the fair there. Then we walked around, because the letter didn't say what was open in the museum. Later we came to a haystack and we were allowed to slide off, that was very nice. I also met my uncle and aunt in the museum. On the Zaanse square we cycled with very strange bikes. After that we went back to the haystack, where beans were drying now, I took some with me. Then we took a ferry, only the planks were very wet, but yes. After four days my mother came to pick us up again because we were going to stay a weekend in a hotel in Drenthe. It was nice in the hotel, you could swim there and there was a bouncy castle. From the room we had a very nice view over the trees. At breakfast we were allowed to pack everything ourselves, including fried egg. That was then made especially for you on the baking tray. The next day we went to the Hunebedcentrum, my aunt works here and it was Oek day with very nice activities: baking sandwiches over the fire, writing good luck wishes, music and much more. We couldn't do everything, because we didn't have enough time. After that we all ate in a steakhouse with z'n. You were allowed to throw the peanut peanuts on the ground there. We ate spareribs with french fries, that was very nice and cozy with my nephew and niece. When we walked out of the restaurant all the peanut peels cracked under our feet. In an aquarium there was a lobster about 20 cm big. At first it rained quite hard but we went to the hotel on foot. The next day we went to the traffic park in Assen. In the beginning we went karting which was super cool, unfortunately you were not allowed to stay that long. After that we went in the pedal cars, you could drive a whole track with all traffic signs, there was also a real police officer and he was strict, we got a fine because we left the apron too late. That fine is fake ;-). Those little pedal cars were heavy kicks. We were allowed to eat in the restaurant, again nice fries 'afternoon and 'evening. Daddy says we won't be eating fries for the next few months. There were also real jeeps, that was also cool, I was not allowed to be alone, you have to be 1.60 but mom let me use the gas. That was really cool. I couldn't get the stair helicopters forward.
The last Saturday we went to the beach of Saltelande. There was a lot of wind, so we could fly a good kite. We also wanted to play soccer, but the beach ball kept blowing away. A couple of sailboats came along and then I had to think of you. Only a few more months and then I can see you again and meet up with you. Gentlemen 1 finally won another game, I went to watch with daddy and found hockey balls again. I still have two games and mini lock day and then the season is over again. Anne's team is first, they have won all the matches. I'm participating in the talent show at school, I'm going to juggle. I do this with Yoelle, I have practiced a lot at home. Wednesday we go to the Loonse en Drunense Duinen for Zandspoor, but also picnicking and playing. Many greetings Frank
Hi Marinthe,
We're having a nice holiday now! And it's very nice weather. Soon Mike will come to stay here and then tonight we will eat mini golf and pancakes. Tomorrow we will go to the green gate, that is a museum about the prehistoric times where all dinosaurs have been reconstructed. I think that would be very nice. I'm playing soccer in the selection at E3, together with Mike. We are still training and we all like that very much because otherwise we can't train again until August and that will take far too long.
In 2 months you'll be back and then you'll come back to our classroom. Luckily our class won't be split up. Miss Jeanne's class will be. Those kids all had to cry.
I think the last crossing of you guys was exciting with all those high waves. But fortunately everything stayed in one piece.
Last weekend I went to camp with the F-selection of 't Zand in Kasterlee in Belgium and that was super fun. We played a lot of soccer and also did a scary trip through the woods. You had to be blindfolded and then follow a ribbon and then you came across all scary things.
Next week I'm celebrating my children's party and then we're going to play soccer in the hall first and then swim for another hour. My birthday was already on May 30th but mom was very busy arranging the camp.
